TRACK INFORMATION
The New look 1/2 mile track was very big but very fast this year with wide bends to test the best of the bunch! This was a fantastic track set in the beautiful Shropshire Countryside courtesy of Mr. Robert Watkins and family.
The popular track is kept in the best condition for Ludlow’s only Trotting Meeting of the year.
Horses, owners and the public get the best from racing as the slight down hill finishes has every one on their toes.
The atmosphere is electric and Ludlow Trotting Association promise that you will become a fan of Harness Racing for many years to come.
SPONSORS AND HOSPITALITY
Each year LTA are looking for sponsors to help with our event. Our main sponsors are the OBS Group, donating kindly towards running our meeting and to help raise funds for our charity. We also sell places in our Hospitality Marquee where you can enjoy a delicious meal and complimentary wine whilst the fast finishes of each race are fought out right in front of the marquee.
A personal bookmaker is at hand if you want to try and predict the winner, including free race card and entry onto the track.
Enthusiasts can also sponsor a race in their honour with free advertising in the race card and a chance to present the winner with a trophy and prize money.

Number Boards
Ludlow Trotting Association are offering you the chance to hire our new number boards that are available for hire this season.
We have had these boards made especially to replace the plastic number cloths that are already in use. We feel that the number boards and their easy to use lightweight frames are better for horses, owners and race committees to use as they are easily transportable and very quick to sort and attach to harness.
With its easy fitting legs that hook into the rein rings, these boards will never leave your harness during a race!
The full set comprises of numbers 1-100 with 20 bright new saddle cloths included for your saddle class.
The cost of hiring the full set is £40.00.
Bookings must be made with Ludlow Trotting before they are to be collected from any race meeting.

CAMPING AND STABLING
Camping facilities are available on site this year as we have the use of an additional field next to the track. Showers and toilets will be on site with food and refreshments all weekend.
Each camping pitch will cost £10.00, (to include showers and toilet hire)
Stabling for horses is available at Ludlow Race Course, prior booking is essential with payment for stable hire to be made in advance.
