2006 RESULTS NOW ON-LINE
I don't
know where to start! THANK YOU EVERY ONE would be good I think.
The LTA Committee had a great time this weekend, the horse owners, crowd, general
public and most of all the boys from Porthcawl were fantastic! It was hard work
but it paid off, the shower of rain on Saturday was a blessing in disguise,
the track held up and so did everyone's spirits.
Saturday night was great! The band and beef roast were spot on and everyone
there was probably worse for wear the next morning, that's what racing is about
- socializing and having fun!!
A few thank you's now, Thanks to Ludlow Race Course Stables for hiring the excellent
stables to us, Thanks to all our helpers and volunteers who were either baked
or drowned but never complained, the stewards and WBCRA Committee members for
two days work and support, Colin for keeping his voice in check, Val & Donna
for keeping their cool (despite being hungover) and the horses and owners/drivers
for giving up a whole weekend to race at Ludlow.
Our field Land Lord, Mr. Robert Watkins, loved us all being there and without
him and all his hard work there would not have been this meeting, he's up for
it again next year which is the best news ever.
Thanks to all the sponsors and every one who donated prizes and money, greatly
appreciated.
Finally, Ludlow will attempt another two day race meeting next
year with your support, LETS RACE!!!
